Dr. Chris Tomshack is the founder and CEO of HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab.  After graduating with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, he was also commissioned an officer in the United States Air Force, graduating top in his ROTC class.  He then continued his study at the University of Toledo, where he was in the MBA program as well as serving as a teaching assistant in the marketing department.  Dr. Tomshack then enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.  After graduation, Dr. Tomshack immediately opened his practice in Vermilion, Ohio. Practice growth came slow at first, finally reaching the point where Dr. Tomshack had the busiest practice around.  He then retired from active practice at age 37 and began building multiple offices, opening three more successful practices.  Many of the practice and business principles he introduced into his clinics came from his relentless study of other industries, always looking for ways to improve the way a practice should be run.  Realizing that he and his team had put together some of the most progressive treatment protocols and business systems ever introduced into chiropractic, he began the steps of building a true franchise for other chiropractors. Dr. Tomshack launched HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive rehab in April of 2006, and in a short time they have become the fastest growing franchise business and opportunity in chiropractic today, helping to build many successful and thriving practices all across the country.

Mr. Dugger received his bachelors of Business Administration from Arizona State Unversity. His business background is extensive and he has participated in many ventures including import/export, real estate, sales and marketing. He comes to HealthSource with over 10 years experience in Chiropractic. He has coached and developed Doctors, to aid them in succeeding, in every one of the United States when he was the former president of Chiropractic Elite Organization. He left his prior employment to partner and operate two clinics in the state of Texas that focused on the systems used today. Mr. Dugger’s desire to be a part of building something great has been rekindled through his involvement with HealthSource and he is excited to share his knowledge with Franchisees and help them grow.

Ms. Tomshack graduated at the top of her class as a Radiologic Technologist (A.C.R.R.T.) with her Associate of Science Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. While she enjoyed working in the medical field she chose to further her College education in the areas of Accounting and Business. Ms. Tomshack has been with HealthSource since its inception April 2006, prior to this she has held the same position with the four HealthQuest Chiropractic clinics since 1994. Ms. Tomshack also brings her previous experience from Chrysler Financial Services to the HealthSource team where she is also responsible for coaching offices on proper credentialing of all licensed physicians.

Dr. Hoven attended Colorado State University and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic. Since that time, Dr. Hoven has served the health care industry as a provider, an educator, and a trainer in many different organizations. Through extensive lecturing and community involvement, he has built several successful chiropractic practices throughout the Denver area and has been requested to lecture at numerous business, civic, and governmental events. More recently, Dr. Hoven has traveled the country consulting with medical clinics on documentation and coding issues related to physical medicine procedures. He currently serves Health Source members through franchise development and training.

Dr. Don Bisesi graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1998. He brings energy and enthusiasm into anything he is involved with! He heads the Franchise Sales Department for HealthSource Headquarters as well as being a member of the HealthSource Franchise Support Team. He excels in the fields of handling objections, proper documentation, motivation and personal development. It is his greatest desire to be a part of changing Chiropractic for the long term and he is excited about being part of this incredible venture.

Ms. Puhalla graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Prior to joining the HealthSource team she spent the previous 10 years managing a family owned business. Ms. Puhalla's personal knowledge of running a small business brings with her a different perspective to the HealthSource organization. Ms. Puhalla took great pride in helping her family build a very successful business from a start up venture into a profitable company. Ms. Puhalla applies that same motivation and desire for success to the Franchisees she is working with daily. Her primary focus is on delivering Marketing support to our locations throughout the country and assisting in creation and design of those Marketing projects. You will find that her willingness to help is by far her greatest strength and it is very evident in working with her.

Ms. Turman was excited to join the HealthSource family and use her talents to help create organization and support for our Franchisees. She studied at Kent State University with a dual focus on Business Administration and Communications. In her previous employment experience she was an operations manager for a physical therapy clinic in Mesa, Arizona and an Executive Assistant to the CEO of Applied Specialties, a water treatment company. In both of these positions Ms. Turman garnered structural management techniques that she is adding to our HealthSource corporate offices. Ms. Turman's strong ability to multi-task is only surpassed by her commitment to excellence and both qualities have made her invaluable to our corporation.

Ms. Balicki attended Ohio Business College with a focus on Administrative Medical Assisting. Ms. Balicki comes to the HealthSource team after working with Dr. Tomshack at one of the corporately owned offices where she became very proficient at the daily operations of a HealthSource franchise. During her employment with HealthSource she was primarily responsible for handling collections, insurance, and billing procedures. Her time spent understanding the inner workings of a high volume clinic allows her to have a great perspective when dealing with our Franchisees through out the country. Ms. Balicki is a great addition to the HealthSource team and we feel very lucky to have her training our offices and working within our organization.

Mr. Martin is a recent graduate of the University of Akron with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting. It was Mr. Martin’s desire upon graduating from college to secure a position where he could use his education to make a significant contribution to others. Mr. Martin assists Lisa Tomshack and the franchisees in any financial dealings and financial communication each month. Mr. Martin is a great team player and we are lucky to have him as part of this corporation.
