Dr. Michelle Peters
D.C.
Dr. Peters, a native Texan, is a 2003 Parker University Graduate. In 2004 she traveled to Australia where she practiced for over seven years. While in Australia, she was a regular featured spokesperson to cancer groups, assisted numerous children
suffering with learning disabilities and helped people with sleeping disorders. She also was the team chiropractor for the athletes at Delta Gymnastics Club and served at local, regional, state, and national competitions within Australia. She returned to the United States, and in March of 2013, opened her office in Arlington, TX. Dr. Peters treats patients with chiropractic and incorporates progressive rehabilitation exercises along with modalities such as spinal decompression and manual therapy including ART, FDM and RockTape when clinically indicated.
Dr. Peters’ post-graduate emphasis has focused on sports, pediatrics, pregnancy, and wellness. In fact, Chiropractic has allowed her to continue in her sport of choice gymnastics even into her 30's. She knows that optimal health is a process and a choice that requires dedication and commitment. Whether patients come to her to increase their performance for their next big competition or want to be able to garden and go for walks without pain, she listens to their individual health concerns and finds health strategies to help them achieve their goals one step at a time. Dr. Peters provides her patients with remarkable service – she states this is because she wants them to “remark” about their treatment to their friends and family.
Additionally, Dr. Peters dedicates time during the week to give back to the community. Her community mornings include everything from massages for local businesses, educational seminars, spinal hygiene classes for schools and seasonal events such as Habitat for Humanity and Relay for Life. Her team’s mission is to get people back to enjoying their lives while encouraging a pro-active approach to health.
