I’ve had chronic back pain my whole life, sciatica, to be exact, and honestly I just thought it was one of those things that I just had to “live with”. I figured if I could manage and not be totally out of commission I was doing ok! I’ve been to many other chiropractors in my life and the relief was always temporary. After meeting with Dr. Manago he explained that I have to fix my issues at the “core” which is my spine and the discs that are damaged. Makes total sense, I just never knew there was actually a way to do that without surgery! Fix the spine, fix the discs, correct the alignment, heal the nerves, heal the muscle! I have been working with the doctor for a few months now, and I can see and feel the progress. I am not 100% yet, but I am close and getting better everyday. It is a process and it takes time for a body to heal after so many years, but I am so grateful to Dr. Manago and his incredible wife for all their support and dedication to making people not just feel better but actually heal and be better.

This review is long overdue for this wonderful chiropractic office. I started seeing Dr. Manago and his wife, Valeria, back in October 2020 due to severe back pain that shot down to my knee—some days I even had to crawl up the stairs. I was getting massages twice a week just to cope.

Dr. Manago recommended an intensive treatment plan at first (4 times a week), and gradually, the pain went away. Over time, my visits reduced to once every 3 months, and now in 2026, I only go once every 6 months for maintenance. He also consistently reminds me to keep up with the daily core exercises he taught me, which have made a big difference.

At every visit, he asks about my pain level—what used to be a 10 is now a 0. I’m very thankful for Dr. Manago and his care.

Dr. Manago is amazing!!! His technique is non-invasive so no scary adjustments. I’m a firm believer of fixing the root of the problem instead of treating the symptoms and that is exactly what he does. I couldn’t sit for long or stand for long with my spine the way it was. I have 3 coworkers who went through treatment with Dr. Manago last year for major sciatica pain. They were completely out of pain after going through treatment so I had to try it for myself. One of the best decisions I have ever made! His wife Valerie manages the office and is an absolute sweetheart which is a huge plus! She is so on top of things and makes you feel right at home. I work in the same building as Dr. Manago’s office and saw that they had special pillows while walking past. I had been waking up every morning with neck pain and tension headaches. I knew the root cause was coming from the way I was sleeping. I finally decided to go in and ask about the pillows they provide and Valarie was so kind and helpful. She measured my neck and shoulders and asked if I was a back sleeper or side sleeper etc. All of these factors helped determine the perfect size pillow for me and it was special ordered. I’ve been sleeping with my new pillow for just a few days now and have noticed an incredible difference in my quality of sleep. HealthSource Chriopractic of Ladera Ranch, more specifically Dr. Manago, has given me my life back. After years of debilitating back pain and other failed chiropractic and medical interventions, I was referred by a dear friend to Dr. Manago. I went to him unable to complete many normal everyday activities because of spasms, spinal instability and chronic pain. His method of treatment is unlike any other chiropractor I have ever seen. His gentle, “non-cracking” and data based treatment method made me feel comfortable and hopeful that he could improve my function and overall well being…..a feeling I had all but given up on. X-rays confirmed what my body had been telling me, that I had several impaired discs in both my neck and lower back. Dr. Manago without hesitation, told me he could help me and within just a few visits, I could feel the improvement. I went from debilitating back pain and fear of movement to normalizing and living with significantly less pain. I felt my spine stabilize for the first time in years. Follow up x rays showed my spine coming back into alignment and my disc health improving. Anecdotally I could confirm his treatments were working, but to also see hard data and pictures through x-rays, made me a true believer in his treatment and protocols. Today I am significantly better. I live with less pain, less fear of movement and continue to improve. Dr. Manago’s investment in his patients is evident from your first visit.
