Meet Dr. Cory Lamar! Dr. Cory has been a member of HealthSource since his start as a chiropractor as a 2017 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his time in chiropractic school, he spent the majority of his time working in the sports rehabilitation department and attending various educational seminars. Dr. Cory is a native of Ohio, growing up near Amherst and attending Firelands High School. He then attended Ashland University as a double major in Biology and Psychology. While at Ashland, he was also a member of the Track and Field team where he earned six All-American honors and was a member of the 4 by 400 relay team that won the 2013 Division 2 National Championship. As an athlete, Dr. Cory was no stranger to injuries that plagued his high school career. Wanting to find a more preventative style of care for himself as a college athlete, this sparked his interest in the medical field. A referral to a chiropractor by his college coach taught him that muscular imbalances were at the root of his sports injuries. Following these visits, Dr. Cory was able to complete his 5 year running career injury free in one of the top Track and Field programs in the country. Having been taught the importance of injury prevention rather than injury rehabilitation, this ultimately led Dr. Cory to a career in chiropractic. In his free time, Dr. Cory enjoys golfing, being active outside, visiting family and friends and hanging out with his yellow lab, Marley. He looks forward to treating his patient’s at HealthSource of Rocky River in the near future!

Meet Amy! Amy is the Office Manager at Health Source of Rocky River. Prior to working at HealthSource, Amy held previous positions at UPS as a customs brokerage supervisor and also at the Animal Hospital of Fairview Park. She was also a High School Volleyball Coach at Saint Joseph Academy for 12 years. For the last 17 years, she has been a coach for the Southwest Volleyball Club, which is a travel Junior Olympic Club Team. She most recently coached her 13-year-old team to earn a trip to Las Vegas for Nationals! Amy is a native of Ohio, growing up in North Olmsted. She now lives in Fairview Park with her Husband, Jeff and their 3 cats, Bocce, Finnegan and Josie. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending as many Cleveland sporting events as possible and watching any competition shows on the food network. She can’t wait to greet you when you come in for care!

Most recently, Lee came to the Cleveland area to spend time as a personal trainer which developed his love of rehabilitation exercises and corrective movement. Lee has a background in a wide range of sports where as a teenager he spent time playing football, baseball and soccer. This led him to his passion of exercise and to ultimately pursue a career related to exercise science. His hobbies include watching and playing sports, spending time with family, and anything outdoors.

Sydney then went on to Ohio University to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, then followed that up with a Masters Degree in Health Administration. She would eventually love to transition into an administrative role for the company. Sydney loves spending time with her friends, family, and her boyfriend Parker. I can’t say enough about this practice. I have been a patient for a few years now. Every concern I have brought to them has been resolved. I had such back pain in August I could hardly move or do anything. I ended up in the hospital with nothing but pain management – this did nothing to alleviate the pain, it only made me out of it. The whole office was aware of my situation, they rallied and helped me come up with a plan to work on not only decreasing the pain, but addressing the cause.
