Dr. Jeff Merkt

Dr. Jeff graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science in Sports and Entertainment Management. In his time at the University of South Carolina Dr. Jeff was a letterman for the track and field team. Upon graduation Dr. Jeff then began a career in strength and conditioning where he coached for the University of South Carolina, Xavier University as well as working in the private sector with numerous Olympic and professional athletes. He has also worked with members of the U.S. Army Special Forces and the F.B.I. Joint Terrorist Task Force and their S.W.A.T. team. During his career in strength and conditioning he studied in the area of Sport Psychology in Exercise Science before deciding to pursue his passion of Chiropractic in order to continue to serve others while having a greater impact.
Dr. Jeff graduated from Logan University and has had training in ART, Kinesio Taping, Acupuncture and was fortunate enough to accept internships with the prestigious Paraquad organization located at the Stephen A. Orthwein Center. While at Paraquad he served patients who have had severe spinal cord trauma as well as other advanced neurodegenerative diseases. Along with his training and education, he has attended courses through Motion Palpation Institute and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization which help to guide chiropractic physicians in the most up-to-date treatment methodology via scientifically backed research.
He looks forward to serving the St. Peters community and helping his patients reach their full potential while improving their overall quality of life.
In his free time, Dr. Jeff enjoys finding great restaurants around St. Louis, working out, jiu jitsu, traveling, continuing education courses, exploring the great outdoors and cooking.
