As an avid athlete growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Adkins developed a profound understanding of the physical demands and challenges faced by active individuals. Excelling in basketball, soccer, and junior Olympic volleyball clubs into college, she experienced firsthand the toll that intense physical activity can take on the body. This personal journey ignited her passion for helping others achieve optimal joint health and mobility, leading her to a fulfilling career in chiropractic care. Dr. Adkins pursued her passion for health sciences at Cleveland State University, earning a B.S. in Health Sciences and Psychology. She then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Adkins is committed to continuous learning and has completed extensive training in functional movement screenings for injury prevention, including coursework from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Additionally, she is certified in Dry Needling from the Integrative Dry Needling Institute (IDN), further enhancing her ability to provide all-inclusive care for her patients. Dr. Adkins chose to join HealthSource because of their shared commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care that is tailored to each individual patient. AMAZING, just amazing! I’ve been to many places over the years trying to get relief from headaches, head, neck and jaw pain from TMJ. I’ve gotten more relief in 1 month going to Dr. Tori than I’ve gotten in 20 years of going to PT’s, other chiropractors, a TMJ specialist and more. I can go on and on about the wonderful staff, the care, the whole environment. I’m very grateful for this place!

I sort of crawled in after my lower back seized up on me. No appointment. They had recently opened next to Budget Blinds, which is where I work. Bo (sp?) could not fit me in for a full work up but got me scheduled for laser therapy within an hour. No sooner do I open the design center and Bo is at the door saying they had a cancellation. Come in now. Bo, Anna, Peyton and Dr. Tori Adkins. Folks, I have a long ways to go, but suffice it to say I am committed to this group of compassionate, fun, knowledgeable and skilled professionals. I was walking, no longer crawling, within hours. And I know everyone who has or will need their services will receive the excellent care and attention I did because that is who they are at their core. Haha….no pun intended, but it works perfectly.
