Meet Dr. Adkins
As an avid athlete growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Dr. Adkins developed a profound understanding of the physical demands and challenges faced by active individuals. Excelling in basketball, soccer, and junior Olympic volleyball clubs into college, she experienced firsthand the toll that intense physical activity can take on the body. This personal journey ignited her passion for helping others achieve optimal joint health and mobility, leading her to a fulfilling career in chiropractic care.
Educational Journey and Leadership
Dr. Adkins pursued her passion for health sciences at Cleveland State University, earning a B.S. in Health Sciences and Psychology. She then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Advanced Training and Specializations
Dr. Adkins is committed to continuous learning and has completed extensive training in functional movement screenings for injury prevention, including coursework from the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Additionally, she is certified in Dry Needling from the Integrative Dry Needling Institute (IDN), further enhancing her ability to provide all-inclusive care for her patients.
