When he’s not at work, Dr. Matt and his wife Emily spend their time trying to keep up with their three young boys. In addition, she has treated elite high school, collegiate, and professional athletes at a private clinic in Salt Lake City. With her background exercise science and rehabilitation, Dr. Niz is committed to helping her patients move better and stay active, empowering them to lead fulfilling, pain-free lives. Dr. Niz is well-versed in a variety of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Thompson, Cox, SOT, Logan Basic, and Activator. Her comprehensive training also includes supplemental techniques such as functional dry needling, Active Release Technique (ART), SFMA, and acupuncture, allowing her to offer tailored care that meets each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Niz and her husband joyfully welcomed their firstborn child in September 2024! As new parents, they are fully immersed in spending quality time with their little “machito.” Despite the new demands of parenthood, the Salt Lake City area offers them easy access to their favorite activities, including hiking, bouldering, camping, and winter sports. HealthSource is the place to go for high quality care! From the moment I walked in the door, I have been impressed with every aspect of HealthSource! Their facility is clean, well kept, and I love the extras I haven’t seen at any other chiropractor like the x-ray room, rehab space and the wonderful little kids corner. I also appreciated that their bathroom has a changing table!

As far as care goes, I don’t know if there’s anywhere better! If I have bad pain, they work me into their schedule and do everything they can to help. They care about me and my health and I have absolutely loved the personal care plan they created for me. As a mom of 2, I needed lots of help getting my muscles to start working the way they’re supposed to. Within just a few weeks I was amazed to find that I had abs again!
