Dr. Elizabeth Sweers

Dr. Elizabeth Sweers is an Iowa native who grew up in Odebolt. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Iowa and majored in Integrative Physiology with a minor in Psychology. She then attended Logan College of Chiropractic, now known as Logan University, where she attained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctorate of Chiropractic. While attending Logan University, she was very involved in the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI) club as well as the pediatric club and the volleyball club. She was senior intern assistant at the Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center in downtown St. Louis, helping to serve the residents and assisting the doctor on staff with managing other student interns. She has a love for prenatal, postpartum and pediatric care and stays involved with the Iowa Chiropractic Society, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and BIRTHFIT to help better serve these demographics.
Dr. Liz currently lives in Adel with her husband, Aaron, and children, Yvonne (Eve) and Jensen. Dr. Liz loves to play volleyball, garden, cook and watch Iowa Hawkeye sports. She loves being outdoors and especially loves to go for walks or hikes with her family. She has a passion for educating and raising awareness for better birth outcomes and experiences for women.
